A film festival, would be incomplete without a full entertainment experience. So, since we love to talk about the movies we watch and since we want to celebrate with you the birth of an institution that comes to enrich our spring habits, we decided to set up some small occasions, so to know each other better. Thank you for joining us at the dancefloors!
On Thursday, April 27th, we all gathered at the impressive and unique multi venue Dudu Loft (12-14 Kolonos, Metaxourgeio) to say goodbye to one of the most legendary DIY art venues that hosted the musical revolution of New York. We are talking of course about the Death by Audio, the place that inspired and hosted some of the most important names of the global independent music scene such as Ty Segall, Future Islands, Dan Deacon, A Place to Bury Strangers and many more and we organize the after scrreening party of the film «Goodnight Brooklyn – the Story of Death by Audio», with Katerina Kafentzi (aka Kafka) & Laternative on the decks. Free entrance.
Straight from the unpredictable mind of Sion Sono, on the occasion of the crazy queer feminist film “Antiporno“, we put on our sexy mood and we invaded «Adult Theaters» (8, Karolou str., Metaxourgio), along with producers of En Lefko 87.7. Free admission, starts at 02.30
This was the ideal party for you! For you who love music as much as the passionate people of iced Tromso Norway do, who in order to survive the unbearable boredom of their small frozen city decided to create their own unique music scene, through which they sprang artists, who changed forever the Norwegian and global electronic music scene. We celebrated the premiere of “Northern Disco Lights” at Romantso (Anaxagoras 3 Athens) with a dj set by Bjorn Torske and En Lefko producers. Free entrance.
We renewed our musical-cinematic rendez-vous until the next edition and we celebrated the birth of En Lefko Film Festival with a party until dawn. Music, dance and fun with the stamp of En Lefko 87.7 in a night that generated ideas for the next exciting action of the city. Zonars (Voukourestiou 9, Athens) was amazing, at 22.00. Free entrance.
